Monday 10/12

We slept in good this morning. I’m so proud of us when we can sleep through the night!

We were a little late going to the gym, so we only worked out about half hour before time to leave. We had to get home so Tom could get to pickleball. We stayed as long as we could which made Tom at least 15 minutes late. Then he hit traffic.

I spent a long time catching up on stuff, practicing, etc., then worked on moving rocks again. We went from near 100 degrees last week to a high of 71 today! I’m so glad cooler weather is finally here! It was nice being outside in the sun with a breeze. It isn’t hard work, but uncomfortable after very much time, being bent over to pick up and move the rocks. Tom said he would like them transported to the front yard and gave me a dolly to help move the buckets after I filled them. It took about an hour to fill 3 small buckets and move them to the front yard.

Tom worked Synergy most of the day.

In the evening, he went outside and placed pieces of the slate that he brought from Tanya’s rental basement and put them in the front yard in an area that was just dirt. He showed it to me when he was done, but it was so dark, I couldn’t really see how it looked. In the morning I could see better!

He is going to need a lot more rocks to fill in the gaps between pieces of slate.

We watched an old episode of Tracker and Scripture Gems before going to bed.
