More Fighting Technology 10/20

I woke up about 3am and went right back to sleep, but woke up over and over until time to get up at 5:55am. It seemed like it was many, many hours dozing off and on.

After Tom left for work, I got through my morning routine plus budgeting and practicing before I got to chat with Anne.

I invited her to wear a moisturizing face mask while we talked. It was pretty silly to try to talk and keep normal conversations going while we looked so silly. But we did have good conversations. I love our time together chatting.

Tom got home while we talked and had breakfast and started on his Synergy work.

Most of the day I spent helping him organize his workload. There are so many different mobile home parks in so many different cities and he has lots of notes on each of them that get confusing, that it is hard to track where he is and what he needs to do next. I printed up sheets for each park with space and organization to write his stuff.

In-between typing sheets for him, I finished creating his calendar for next year. It’s a book, 8 ½ by 11, with half of a week on each page. I got all the dates right and filled in all the birthdays and holidays, then started printing. I had to quit when we were almost out of paper.

I bought a new printer which arrived today, but the old one decided to be online all day and gave me no problems. Now I don’t know if I should order more ink for it, or switch to the new one and be done with the old.

I also ordered a fire stick so we can watch tv shows that won’t work on the tv and spent a LONG time trying to figure out how to make it work. I watched lots of videos and did all the steps over and over until finally and suddenly, it worked. So now, when I want to watch a show, I have to remember whether it is on the fire stick or on the tv. We switched from cable to internet tv earlier this year. Internet tv is way cheaper and I only have to pay for the shows I want, but cable tv is WAY easier to navigate.

We watched a good movie and a new show called Cupertino. It was good!

So I think my technology woes are almost over and I survived, I conquered, technology didn’t kill me after all!
