A dinner party 2/27
I got to go to the Spanish ward today, for their ward conference. It was really fun because they are so many nice people there who we love and they are all so happy to see us! Such good people! Unlike all the other wards we’ve gone to for ward conference, they did not do a linger longer ☹ , but instead had their regular meetings. So we went to Relief Society and I tried to translate for Janice. The teacher, the RS president, just reads one paragraph at a time, then asks if anyone has any comments. We got through about half of the lesson before time was up. But it was super nice being in there with the people I love. I’m so grateful that I learned Spanish so I can be part of their world. It has turned into a much bigger blessing than I ever imagined when I took Spanish in high school! When we got home, Tanya, Todd and the boys were already at our house.
