Pondering Pen Clips
I have wondered many times over many years what percent of people clip their pens on a pocket protector or similar device. To me it seems that the percentage would be quite small. I mean I really don't see very many people with pens in their shirt pockets. I'm sure I don't keep mine there, and no women I know wear their pens in a pocket. I have all my pens at home in a drawer, thus making the clip on the pen useless. The pens I carry fit in a handy little pocket I created in my purse just the right size to hold up the pen and keep it handy. My eldest said she uses the clip to keep the pen handy in her purse, but at home I'm pretty sure she doesn't clip the pen to anything. So here is my big question. If only a small percentage of people actually use the clip on the pens, WHY DON'T THEY MAKE A LARGER PERCENT OF PENS WITHOUT CLIPS? It is REALLY hard to find a really cool pen without a clip.
