Back on the wagon
At the beginning of April I went to see a nutritionist/chiropractor to see if he can help me get rid of my headaches and balance my thyroid and I had a couple of other issues that I was concerned about, too. My 2 daughters had already been going to him, so I knew what to expect. The first thing he does is put you on a diet that consists of vegetables, fruit, and protein. Every meal is supposed to be made up of 2 vegetables and one protein. 2 fruits are allowed each day. That's it. No grains, no dairy, no sugar. Tom and I had done the same diet last year, so it wasn't new and I knew how to do it and knew I could, but this time it was harder than I thought to get going on it. Last year I lost about 15 pounds while I was doing the diet with Tom. He was the one on the diet; I just did it to support him. But we both felt much better on it and we both lost weight.
